Although the religious aspect was one of the most important aspects that received the attention of the people of Tripoli and Barqa, we cannot say that religious life in the country was on par with the major religious centers in the west, as Kairouan and Fez, or the East as Cairo and Baghdad. It also does not mean that the country lacked prominent scholars in this field, even if it was weak, despite the scholars it had and the treasures of religious sciences they provided, which should not be underestimated.
