The research deals with an explanation of the situation of one of the narrators of the hadith in whom there is disagreement between the imams of criticism in terms of distortion and modification. It is an application process for the rules drawn up by the imams of hadith for dealing with those whose sayings of the imams of criticism contradict each other in terms of distortion and modification. The research proceeded in its presentation on dividing the sayings of the imams of criticism according to their approaches to strict. Moderate and lenient, and coming up with a summary for the adherents of each approach, then the general conclusion for the imams of criticism in general, as I mentioned. Then there are the sayings of the late imams of criticism. The research concluded that Israel ibn Yunus is one of the trustworthy narrators
