This study attempted to show the negative impact that Orientalism had, especially on its political wing, and the extent of its impact on the Arab citizen in the absence of a solid religious base, which Orientalism played an important role in destabilizing and trying to eliminate. As it is known, Orientalism represented an intellectual wing that penetrated greatly into Oriental studies in a way In general, and in Islamic studies in a more specific way, he tried through this incursion to infuse the spirit of his Western civilization to replace Islamic cultural thought, according to the retrospective historical approach and the descriptive analytical approach. This study was divided into two sections: The first was Orientalism, the intellectual wing of the Western invasion, and the second was Orientalism and the Caliphate, and its role in fragmentation, exclusion, and spreading the alternative. One of its results was that Orientalism found in the political aspect a means by which to achieve its goals. It criticized Islamic political thought for the purpose of fragmenting it and putting the alternative in its place.
