Abstract

The Crime of Treason in theHoly Qur'an and Legislative Law This research addresses the crime of treason as one of the most serious offenses That threaten individual and societal stability Due to its religius, moral,and legal Consequences. The Holy Qur' an treats Treason as a grave moral deviation and a Violation of trust and covenant, which Allah Has commanded to be preserved. Treason in The Qur' anic context includes detrayal of Allah and His Messenger, breach of trusts, Violation of covenants. And acts of dislovalty That harm the community. The Qur'an presents various forms of Treason, insluding religious, social, political, And military treason, as indicated in the verse: "O you who believe, do not betray Allah and the messenger, nor betiry your trustknowingly"(Al-Anfal:27). The Qur'an condemns treason as a blameworthy traitassociated with hypocrisy And weak faith, and it emphasizes honesty, loyelty, and trustwothimess as fondamental moral values. From a legislative perspective, treason is considered a criminal offense punishable by  Law due to its serious threat to public order and national security. Legal systems classify treason into several forms, such as breach  trust, marital anfldelity, and high treason against the state. Legislative laws define the  legal elements of the crime and impose penalties proportion its severity and social ampact The study concludes that both Qur'anic Legisletion and positive law agree on criminalizing treason and recognizig its danger to society. However, the Qur' an focuses primarily on moral, spiritual, and ethical reform, whereas legislative law emphasizes  legal regulation and punitive mephasizes legal regulation and punitive. Measures. The researsh highlights the importance of integrating religious values With legal frameworks  to effectivily combat  Treason and preserve social stebality.
